Yellow stores a small set of preferences per user. Open them from the user menu (bottom-left) → Settings. The changes you make here travel with your account across every tenant you can access.

Identity

The top of the profile shows your name, email and the identity provider you signed in with (Google, API key, etc.). You cannot change the email here — it is set by your identity provider. Update it on the provider's side and sign in again.

Default tenant

The default tenant is the one Yellow opens automatically after sign-in. By default it is the last tenant you used. To pin a specific one, switch to it first and then mark it as default from the user menu.

This is purely a convenience — you can always switch tenants from the user menu regardless of the default.

Interface language

Yellow's UI is available in several languages. Pick the one you prefer from the settings; the help articles and form labels switch immediately. The default is taken from your browser the first time you sign in.

The interface language is independent from the Localized String data in your tenant — switching the UI does not translate your data, only the chrome around it.

Bookmarks

Bookmarks are managed inline from each instance (the star icon in the instance header) but you can review and clean up the full list from your profile. Bookmarks are per-user and per-tenant.

API keys

If you build automation against Yellow, you may need an API key tied to your account. From the profile you can:

  • Issue a new key — give it a name so you remember what it is for.
  • Rotate an existing key — issues a new value and invalidates the old one.
  • Revoke a key you no longer need.

Treat keys like passwords: copy them once when issued, store them in a secret manager, and never paste them into shared documents. Organization-issued keys live elsewhere, under the organization's admin screens.

Sessions and sign-out

The user menu also offers a Sign out action. It clears your session in this browser; existing API keys are unaffected. If you suspect a session is compromised, revoke the relevant API keys and change your provider password — Yellow itself does not store passwords.
